What Are We Doing Today?

The Glassy Mountain Fire Service Area continues to provide quality, consistent medical care and fire protection to the residents within its 52 square miles. The department remains committed to expanding its knowledge and capabilities in response to the needs of its residents. Approximately 60 Full-Time, Part-Time, and Volunteer members have a range of certifications from Support to Firefighter/Paramedic. Our Headquarters, Beaver Dam, and Mountain Stations have personnel available to respond to calls 24/7. In recent years we have responded to more than 700 calls annually.
